To start playing this board game expansion, first gather all the components from the box. Lay out the special map Regions with the powerful Megaliths. Hand out the new player cards to the players according to the existing factions they choose. Shuffle the new Region deck for the Hinterlands and place it where it's accessible. In the game, explore the megalith ruins on the new island. Use the magical relics to gain advantages and command your new forces to shift between Cruelty and Mercy for strong effects. When using the stretch goal cards, keep them organized so you can quickly access the New Advisors, Numerai, Relics, and Titles. The free mini - solo mode 'Faraway Invaders' can be accessed via the URL provided from the KS campaign.
