As years pass after the shipwreck, Perseverance has blossomed from a small settlement into a thriving city. New landmarks enhance living standards, and ranches contribute to society and exploration. Rumors of abandoned structures may hold the key to taming Thunderhorns and Ironjaws, expanding our influence across the island. These ruins also bring more questions. Episodes 3 and 4 are medium - heavy thematic Euro games that conclude the story of time - lost survivors on a dinosaur island. Each episode can be played alone or in Chronicle mode for a continuous story. Episode 3 focuses on engine and tableau building. With the city safe from dinosaur attacks, players can send Dino Riders to the island's far - off areas. To play this game, first, make sure you have the core game as this is an expansion. You can play each episode as a standalone game or in the Chronicle mode for a connected story. In Episode 3, when it's your turn, you can choose to send a Dino Rider to the far reaches of the island instead of placing a die in the city. Build and customize your ranches on your player board using the Supply resource from the wilderness. City Landmarks will give you passive benefits as you play.
