In this game, players are powerful Archons seeking the King's favor. They influence Courtiers and Magisters. Each game has three Seasons. In each Season, the King sets demands for Victory Points. Each season has 3 rounds. Players use a card - driven worker placement system to perform actions like gathering resources, recruiting soldiers, rebuilding the city, and getting scoring cards.
