You'll get 60 cards with 100 extra commissioned artworks illustrated by Karim Chakroun, 16 oversized placards for bacteria and refugia, 48 disks for catalysts, enzymes, and antioxidants, 64 wooden cubes for manna and chromosomes, 16 wooden domes for bionts (4 more than the 1st edition), 12 six - sided dice for autocatalytic and Darwin rolls, a 68 - page rulebook with historical background, a folding player aid, and a box sized 5' X 5' X 1.75'.
In this game, one to four players start as organic compounds right after Earth's formation, represented by up to three Biont tokens. Different compounds have unique functions. The goal is to achieve a double origin of life. Players can choose to play cooperatively, competitively, or solitaire.
Designer Phil Eklund said this is his most challenging and ambitious project. With Bios: Genesis, Bios: Megafauna, and Origins: How We Became Human, he takes players through the whole scope of life on Earth.

Maintenance: Keep the cards in a dry place to prevent damage. You can use card sleeves for better protection. Store the wooden pieces and dice in the box to avoid misplacement. If the box gets dirty, you can clean it gently with a dry cloth.
