It's set in 19th - century Scotland, a time when Scotland shifted from an agricultural to an industrialized nation relying on trade and export. They compete to produce, trade, and export agricultural products and whisky. The game lasts five rounds, each with three phases: player turns, production, and round scoring. In player turns, you can choose from eight actions like building, upgrading, trading, and exporting. If you run out of money, you pass and get a bonus. In the production phase, collect basic resources, refined goods, and cash from your production units on the map. Refined goods need the relevant basic resources. In round scoring, you earn VPs based on the current round's scoring tile. The game comes with eight different clans, a modular board with 16 configurations, eight port bonuses, and eight round scoring tiles. How to use: First, set up the modular board with one of the 16 configurations. Each player chooses a clan with unique abilities. The game has five rounds. In each round, start with the player turns.
