It combines resource management, worker placement, and thrilling combat. You'll be the leader of a small clan of brave warriors, vying for the crown of the Lands of the Discord. Visit buildings in the Citadel, the last stronghold against the monsters that have invaded the kingdom, and also venture outside the Citadel to battle monsters and reclaim land for the Queen. At game's end, the clan with the most victory points wins the crown. Victory points come from amassing glory, reputation, gold, and trophies from monster defeats. Glory is key; leave the Citadel's safety, take on missions, defeat or capture monsters, and conquer lands. Your mercenaries give you dice for actions using a 'worker - placement' mechanic. In the Citadel, use dice to upgrade your clan by getting hunting tools, shields, potions, venoms, and more. The timing and type of dice placement affect you and other players. Outside, dice are your battle tools. Roll them in missions and battles to defeat monsters and reconquer land. Plan well to manipulate dice results and boost your chances of success. Roll them in missions and battles to defeat monsters and reclaim land. To gain victory points, focus on getting glory by leaving the Citadel, taking on missions, and defeating or capturing monsters. At the end of the game, the clan with the most victory points wins the crown. Remember, the Kickstarter Edition usually doesn't include paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign unless stated.
