Note that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. Keyflower is an exciting game for 2 - 6 players played over four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Each player starts with a 'home' tile and eight workers in red, yellow, or blue. You can use matching - colored workers to bid for tiles for your village or generate resources, skills, and more workers from your own, others' villages, and auctioned tiles. In spring, summer, and autumn, new workers, some with skills in iron, stone, and wood, arrive on the Keyflower and her sister boats. Village tiles are randomly set for auction in these seasons. In winter, no new workers come, and players choose auction tiles from those received at the start. Winter tiles offer VPs for specific combinations of resources, skills, and workers. The player with the most VPs wins. Every game of Keyflower is unique due to different village tile mixes. You'll need to seize opportunities to use your resources, transport, upgrade ability, skills, and workers effectively. Co - designed by Richard Breese and Sebastian Bleasdale, it's the seventh game in the 'Key' series set in medieval 'Key' land. We're happy to support campaigns so you can buy Keyflower online at TheGameSteward. A large part of your spending on Keyflower will go towards backing new Kickstarter games. To play Keyflower, first, each player gets a 'home' tile and eight workers in red, yellow, or blue. The game is played over four rounds representing the four seasons. In spring, summer, and autumn, new workers will come on board, and some have skills in working with iron, stone, and wood. During these seasons, random village tiles are up for auction. You can use your matching - colored workers to bid for these tiles to build your village or to generate resources, skills, and more workers. In winter, there are no new workers. You select the auction tiles from those you got at the start of the game. Each winter tile gives VPs for certain combinations of resources, skills, and workers. The player who ends up with the most VPs wins the game. Remember, paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless otherwise stated. When storing the game, keep it in a dry place to prevent the tiles and cards from getting damaged. Also, handle the workers carefully to avoid chipping or breaking the colors.
