Its setting covers several millennia, taking players through eight ages from ancient to near - future times. The player with the most fame wins. There are over 300 unique cards with more than 200 distinct illustrations of historical inventions, buildings, and wonders. Your aim is to get the best cards to develop your civilization in research, military, population, prosperity, and culture. Millennia combines drafting, engine building, and set collection, with a unique obsolescence concept. As time passes, acquired cards become obsolete after 1 to 4 ages. This allows for different strategies and makes the game highly replayable. Each age has phases where players draft new technology cards, acquire buildings and wonders, use technologies and buildings to boost civilization aspects, and compare military strength. After 8 ages, the player with the most victory points wins. We're excited to back campaigns and offer you this Millennia game to buy online at TheGameSteward. A large part of your spending on this game will go towards backing new Kickstarter games. If you have any purchase questions or need game advice, contact us at The Game Steward.
Using the Millennia board game is a fun experience. First, set up the game according to the rules, laying out the cards and placing the metal coins. During each age, you'll draft new technology cards from the specific era available. Then, you can acquire important buildings and famous wonders. Use your technologies and buildings to increase aspects of your civilization like research, military, etc. Compare your military strength with opponents to see who's the strongest. Keep in mind that as the game progresses, some of your acquired technology and building cards will become obsolete after 1 to 4 ages, so plan your strategies accordingly.
