The last glimmer of hope lies within the walls of Farrenroc, a city on the edge of Darkness. As a defender, you've walked its streets, tasted its harvests, and sworn to protect it. Now, at the city gates, you face the unknown beyond as the approaching Darkness draws near. In Myth: Dark Frontier, a fully cooperative board game, you'll take on the role of an iconic Myth hero. Your mission is to defend Farrenroc from the Darkness legions trying to despoil its walls. Heroes will travel, fight, and quest, while also setting up strongholds in the surrounding lands for resources. Each hero has a unique deck of action cards. The forces of Darkness are spreading, aiming to cripple Farrenroc and lay siege. Each game pits heroes against a single army with its own minions, captains, boss, and treacheries. Dark Frontier combines adventure, resource management, action selection, and conquest for a unique gaming experience. Players choose three actions from five (Travel, Battle, Encounter, Fortify, and Quest) and place them in morning, day, or night slots. To play Myth: Dark Frontier, first set up the game according to the instructions. Each player takes on the role of an iconic hero. You'll then select three actions out of five (Travel, Battle, Encounter, Fortify, and Quest) and place them in the morning, day, or night time slots. Do this for all heroes and the enemy at the same time, then shuffle the cards. When it's time for a phase, draw and execute the action. Make sure to discuss your planned actions with other players to use the right actions at the right time. The enemy will be trying to destroy Farrenroc, so work together to defend it. Remember, this is the Kickstarter Edition which includes the core game and all unlocked stretch goals, but paid add - ons from the campaign are not included unless stated.
