This is the Kickstarter Edition of the On the Underground: London/Berlin Board Game. Note that unless stated, paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included. The London Underground, opening in 1863, is the world's first underground passenger railway. With 11 lines, it transports about 5 million passengers daily across 270 stations on 400 km (250 mi) of track. Its vast network forms one of the world's most complex transportation systems, and this game challenges you to develop it. Build successful lines, connect to landmarks, and draw in passenger traffic! In the game, players construct Underground lines in London or U - Bahn lines in Berlin, controlling 2 - 4 different lines based on the number of players. Each turn, four destination cards corresponding to map stations are available. You can take up to four actions: building track by placing a track token or taking a branch token. Use two branch tokens to branch from an existing line. After each turn, a passenger token moves along players' lines to reach destinations, avoiding walking. Destination cards are then replaced. Players score points by building track, connecting to stations, creating circular lines (in London), collecting tiles from specific landmarks (in Berlin), and having the passenger use their lines. The game ends after all destination cards are drawn and all players take the same number of turns. Compared to the first edition, the first - turn player takes three actions and the last - turn player takes five actions. The passenger isn't removed when the draw deck is empty. There's a new Berlin map with corresponding cards and tiles. On the London map, some single connections are now double, one double connection is triple, and some stations and connections are removed.
