Q.E. (Kickstarter Special)

Board Game Geek Rating: 6.29. Average Player Rating: 7.53. Suitable for 3 to 5 players and published in 2019. This is the Kickstarter Edition of the Q.E. Board Game. Note that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. A financial crisis has hit! Sixteen large companies from four countries need bailing out. Central banks have unlimited funds but face a risk: print too much money and the country goes bankrupt. In Q.E. (Quantitative Easing), you play as a central bank. Bid on companies of different sizes to earn victory points. As the central bank, your bid amount is unlimited. After the lead player's open bid, other players bid secretly. Once all sixteen companies are bailed out, bonus victory points are given for nationalization, monopolization, and diversification. Player markers on the scoring track show who has the most victory points, but it's not over yet. Players must add up the money they printed, and the one who printed the most loses all victory points. Previous editions supported up to four players with a separate fifth - player expansion. This new edition can be played with up to five players right out of the box. How to play: First, understand that you're taking on the role of a central bank. The lead player starts with an open bid on a company. Then, other players bid secretly. Keep doing this until all sixteen companies are bailed out. After that, you'll get bonus victory points for different company - related achievements. Check the scoring track to see who's leading, but don't forget to add up the money you printed at the end. If you printed the most, you lose all your victory points. Note: This is the Kickstarter Edition, and paid add - ons from the campaign aren't included unless specified. Also, this new edition can be played with up to five players right away, unlike previous versions. Maintenance: Keep the game components in a dry place. If there are any paper cards, try not to bend them. When not in use, store the game in its box to keep everything organized.
