Designed by Gord!, the creator of Santorini and Santorini: New York, Ragnarocks is an area - control game. In Norse mythology, Midgard is the center of the world, and in this game, you're a Viking clan using runestones to claim land. In the advanced game, your clan can worship a powerful being from another realm for an edge over rivals.
At the end of the game, the clan controlling the most territory in Midgard wins. A player's turn has a move phase (move one of your active Vikings in a straight line) and a summoning phase (summon a runestone along a straight - line path from the moved Viking). When an area is enclosed with only one clan's Vikings, it becomes settled. Once all Vikings are settled, the player with the most territory is victorious.

How to use: Start by setting up the game board and all the components from the base game and the expansion. Decide who plays as which Viking clan. Each turn, first, move one of your active Vikings in a straight line during the move phase. Then, in the summoning phase, place a runestone along a straight - line path from the location of the moved Viking. When you create an enclosed area with only your clan's Vikings, that area is yours.

Maintenance: Keep the game components in a dry and cool place. When not in use, store the cards and figures in their original boxes or use protective sleeves for the cards to prevent damage.
