Set in 1692 Salem, Massachusetts, one wrong move could make you the next to hang. The game comes in a faux - book box that closes magnetically, looking like an antique on your bookshelf. Play as 12 unique characters like Mary Warren, Samuel Parris. Each player gets 3 - 5 Tryal cards to reveal their identity. During the game, gather cards to accuse or defend others. Decide who to trust as you can't play cards on yourself. When suspecting a witch, use red accusation cards. Find all 'Witch' Tryal cards to win. Also use green and blue cards to help or hurt others. Draw black cards with immediate effects. 'Night' lets witches eliminate someone and constable save. 'Conspiracy' makes players take a Tryal card from the left. How to use: First, decide on the number of players (4 - 12). Each player picks a character from the 12 available ones and gets 3 - 5 Tryal cards. Start the game. As you play, collect cards to accuse or defend other players. When you suspect a witch, use red accusation cards. Once enough accusations are on a player, the one making the final accusation reveals a Tryal card. Keep playing until all 'Witch' Tryal cards are found. You can also use green and blue cards to affect your allies or enemies. When you draw black cards, follow their special effects like 'Night' and 'Conspiracy'. Attention: This is the Kickstarter Edition, and usually, paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included. Maintenance: Keep the game in its faux - book box when not in use. Store it in a dry place to prevent damage to the cards and the box. Check the cards regularly for any signs of wear and tear. If the magnetic closure of the box becomes weak, you may need to handle it more carefully.
