It features high - quality wooden playing pieces and an innovative double - sided tile mechanism. Each side of the tile shows a different offensive or defensive posture and what the piece can do in a turn. After a move or using a special ability, flip the tile to change its posture. The postures offer various maneuver and attack options like a standard Move (full circle), Jump (hollow circle), Slide (arrow), and Strike (star). Each turn, pick a tile to move, defend your troops, and try to capture your opponent's tiles. Capture the opponent's Duke to win! Start by placing your Duke in one of the middle squares on your side of the board, then place two Footman next to it. Each turn, you can either move a tile or draw a new one from the bag. With 15 different double - sided Troop Tiles and 19 pieces per player (plus optional tiles), the gameplay is endless. Terrain Tiles add more gameplay options and change the board.
