Players are competing builders racing to develop a city by constructing luxury homes, airports, malls, and business centers. Each round, players build buildings, score victory points, and earn income. The game ends when a player reaches 50 or more victory points, and the one with the most points wins. It's a fast - paced, simultaneous - play filler game, lasting 20 - 30 minutes and suitable for players aged 10+.
What's new in gameplay: The Factory (2 copies) adds a new strategy, 5 cards are adjusted for better balance, and victory point chips are included for easier scoring.
The Expanded City (exclusive to KS backers, not in the retail version) adds 33 more cards (16 new ones), expands the game to 6 players, and strengthens certain strategies.

In The City, players build their cities round by round, using cards as both buildings and currency. The first to 50 victory points wins. Victory points accumulate, so a fast start is beneficial. Some buildings provide income and boost victory points based on symbols on the cards.

Maintenance: Keep the cards in a cool, dry place to prevent warping or damage. You can use card sleeves to protect them for longer use. If the victory point chips get dirty, you can gently clean them with a soft cloth.
