This is an expansion for the Too Many Bones Board Game, and the core game is required to play (sold separately). Get ready for lab work! Too Many Bones: Splice & Dice lets players create their own tyrants using baddies from the base games and add - ons. Build a tyrant during standard TMB games or work for Nobulous outside of a TMB game and bring your creation in later. Besides the new tyrant creation system, Splice & Dice introduces new tyrants, encounters, and dual baddie - type baddies, forcing players to come up with new strategies for their favorite characters. How to use: First, make sure you have the core Too Many Bones Board Game. Then, unpack the Splice & Dice expansion. Set up the included mats, cards, chips, and dice as described in the rulebook. Decide whether you want to create your tyrant during a standard TMB game or work on it separately for Nobulous. When creating a tyrant, use the baddies from the base games and add - ons. Try different combinations to come up with unique strategies. New tyrants, encounters, and dual baddie - type baddies add more fun and challenges. Note: The core game is sold separately and is necessary to play this expansion. Maintenance: Keep the cards in the tuckboxes to prevent damage. Store the dice and chips in their respective storage trays. Wipe the neoprene mats gently with a damp cloth if they get dirty. The fabric bag can be used to carry all the game components, but be careful not to overstuff it to avoid bending the cards or damaging the dice.
