Board Game Geek Rating: 6.86. Board Game Geek Avg Player Rating: 7.00. This thrilling dice board game is for 3 to 8 players and was published in 2013. It's the retail edition of BANG! The Dice Game. Set in the U.S. wild west, the battle between law and outlaws intensifies. Then, an Indian attack! Are you brave enough to face it? The game keeps the core of the Bang! card game. At the start, players get a role card secretly placing them on a team - Sheriff and deputies, outlaws, or renegades. The Sheriff and deputies aim to kill outlaws, outlaws win by killing the Sheriff, and renegades want to be the last alive. Each player also gets a character card with a special power. The Sheriff reveals their role and starts the game. On a turn, players can roll five dice up to three times. Use the dice results to shoot neighbors, increase shot range, heal life points, or engage with the Indians represented by nine tokens in the center. Roll an arrow, take a token. When the last token is taken, players lose life points per token held, then tokens go back to the center. Get a trio of Gatling symbols, fire at everyone and get rid of Indian tokens. Play until a team meets the win condition. Death might not stop you if your teammates win! We're happy to back campaigns to bring you this game to buy online at TheGameSteward. A good part of your spend on this game will back new Kickstarter games. If you have purchase questions or need game advice, contact The Game Steward.
How to play: First, each player gets a role card secretly assigning them to a team and a character card with a special power. The Sheriff shows their role and starts the game. On your turn, you can roll the five dice up to three times. Use the dice results to take actions like shooting other players, increasing your shooting range, healing life points, or dealing with the Indian tokens. When you roll an arrow, take a token from the center. If you collect three Gatling symbols, you can fire at everyone and get rid of your Indian tokens. The game ends when one team meets its winning condition. Remember, even if you 'die', your team might still win. Note: Keep track of the Indian tokens carefully as they can affect your life points. When playing, make sure everyone understands the rules clearly. Maintenance: Store the game in a dry place to keep the cards and dice in good condition. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or moisture.
