To play Mare Nostrum: Empires, first, choose one of the available leaders to lead your ancient empire. Each empire starts with three provinces. Then, you can expand your influence by moving into new provinces. You can grow your trade by creating caravans and building markets. Founding cities and temples helps to build your empire's cultural and economic base. You can also recruit heroes and create wonders to give your empire an edge. There are multiple ways to win. You can focus on trade expansion, cultural development like building the pyramids, military might to take over other provinces, or political leadership by claiming key titles. When playing, be aware that other players might try to interfere with your progress. After the game, store the components in a dry place to keep them in good condition. If the counters get dirty, you can gently clean them with a soft, dry cloth. Make sure to keep all the components together in the box to avoid losing any pieces.
