Board Game Geek Rating: 5.58. Board Game Geek Avg Player Rating: 7.26. This board game is for 2 to 4 players and was published in 2013. It's the retail edition of Migration, including the core game. In Migration, each player becomes multiple anthropomorphic animals migrating to a new continent. Take turns placing animal tokens on the board to represent towns. New towns usually originate from the last one placed. Each animal token has a unique ability, adding a lot of strategy. The game ends when no one can make a legal move, and points are scored for each town. The highest - scoring player wins. Migration: Book II – A Saga of Conflict includes both Book I and a new Book II. There are new features compared to the Game Crafter version, like Age Cards, an optional drafting mechanism, a modular board, extra terrain modifiers, and six new explorer types. At TheGameSteward, we're happy to support campaigns so you can buy games like Migration online. A good portion of your spending on Migration will go towards backing great new games on Kickstarter. If you have questions about buying Migration or need game advice, contact us at The Game Steward.

How to play: First, each player decides to be multiple anthropomorphic animals migrating to a new continent. Then, take turns placing animal tokens on the board to represent towns. Remember, new towns usually come from the last one placed, but there are some exceptions. Each animal token has its own special ability, so use them to your advantage. The game stops when no one can make a proper move. Count the points for each town on the board, and the one with the most points wins. Notes: Make sure you understand the special rules for placing towns. If you're playing the Book II version, get familiar with the new features like Age Cards. Maintenance: Keep the board and tokens in a dry place to prevent damage. If the pieces get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth.
