Players use their wits, some tools, and resources from fields, brickyards, and the Grimm Forest. The goal is to be the first to build 3 houses and become the Royal Builder. You can use tricks from fables, but watch out for the Big Bad Wolf!
This 2 - 4 player game of hidden movement, resource gathering, and house building takes about 45 - 60 minutes. Secretly play cards to move and gather resources. Use deduction to guess others' plans and disrupt them.
After gathering, enter the building phase to build wood, straw, or brick houses. When building a wall, a helpful friend may come. You can accept or send them to another player.

How to Play: First, set up the game by laying out all the components like the gather location boards, player boards, and tokens. Each player gets a set of starting resources. During the game, secretly play cards to move to different location boards and gather resources. Use your fable cards and deduction skills to figure out what other players are planning and try to disrupt their plans. After the gather phase, start the building phase. Use the resources you've collected to build houses. When you build a wall section, a friend card might come into play. You can either accept the help or send the friend to another player.
Things to Note: Watch out for the Big Bad Wolf! He might mess up your plans. Also, don't be too predictable with your card - playing and resource - gathering strategies.
Maintenance: Keep all the game components in a dry and clean place. You can use a soft cloth to clean the miniatures if they get dirty. If you need to store the game for a long time, make sure all the cards are in good condition and the tokens are sorted properly.
