Board Game Geek Rating: 6.02 | Board Game Geek Avg Player Rating: 6.98. This is the Simurgh Board Game retail edition, perfect for 2 to 5 players. Published in 2016, it takes you to a magical world where humans and dragons co - exist, hunt, and wage wars together. As clan leaders, players breed powerful dragons, use their unique abilities, gather resources, and aim to amass the most Power Points to make their house the mightiest. The game unfolds in turns. Each turn allows one Main Action, usually placing a worker (Vassal) on an Action Space, and any number of Free Actions. Vassals come in two types: Spearmen, the young warriors, and Dragonriders, noble warriors with their own Simurgh steeds. Players build the board by drawing and placing Action Tiles. These tiles offer new Action Spaces or scoring opportunities for specific dragon combinations. The game ends when all scoring spaces are filled, and then Power Points are counted. At TheGameSteward, we're excited to offer Simurgh Core Game. A large part of your spending will go towards backing new Kickstarter games. If you have questions about buying or need game advice, contact us at The Game Steward.

To play Simurgh, first gather 2 to 5 players. Each player becomes the head of a clan. During your turn, you get to perform one Main Action, like placing a Vassal (either a Spearman or a Dragonrider) on an empty Action Space. You can also do as many Free Actions as you like. The Vassals help you gain resources, exchange assets for Power Points, add new Vassals to your clan, or breed new Simurghs. As the game progresses, draw and place Action Tiles to build the board. Keep an eye out for tiles that give special scoring opportunities. When all the scoring spaces are filled with tiles, the round ends, and it's time to count your Power Points. The player with the most wins. When you're done playing, store the game in a dry place to keep the cards and pieces in good condition. If you have any questions during the game, feel free to refer back to this guide or contact The Game Steward.
