It's the retail edition of the Spirit Island: Branch & Claw Expansion by Greater Than Games, including the core game. Note: paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign aren't included unless stated otherwise. The Branch & Claw Expansion features two new Spirits (Sharp Fangs Behind the Leaves and Keeper of the Forbidden Wilds), a new Adversary (France), and adds Events to the Invader Phase. The Event Deck brings new events each turn, adding more variety to gameplay. There are also Tokens that can stop invaders from exploring, building, or ravaging, or add wild Beasts to the land. It comes with 31 Minor and 21 Major powers using the new Tokens, 15 new Fear cards, new Blight cards, and new Scenarios. How to use: First, set up the core game as usual. Then, add the components from the Branch & Claw Expansion. Place the new Spirits, Adversary, and use the new Event Deck, Tokens, cards, and Scenarios. Each turn, draw an event from the Event Deck to add variety. The Tokens can be used to control the invaders' actions or add Beasts to the land. Use the new powers according to the rules.
