To play Love Letter Premium, first gather 2 to 8 players. Open the hard - sided box with the magnetic closure. Take out the supersized and thick cards. If you have 2 - 4 players, follow the rules for that player count and use the appropriate cards. If you have 5 - 8 players, use the additional cards like the Assassin (0) and the Sycophant (4) as per the rules. The goal is to collect the wooden hearts. When using the Assassin (0), if an opponent forces you to reveal it, you can eliminate that opponent. The Sycophant (4) must be the target of a played card until it's covered on the next turn.
