In Colony, players embark on an adventure of constructing and upgrading buildings while skillfully managing resources to develop their new colony. A unique feature is using dice as resources, with each side representing a different resource. Some resources can be stored for later use, while others must be used immediately. Buildings offer various new capabilities like increased production, resource manipulation, and extra victory points. This dice - based resource system creates a dynamic mini - game for resource management. As players add buildings to their tableau, they work towards earning victory points. Each game uses 7 out of 28 different building card types, along with the fixed buildings in every play.

How to play: At the start of the game, each player gets a basic setup for their colony. Roll the dice to get resources, and use them to build or upgrade buildings. You can choose to store stable resources for the next turn or use them right away. When using dice, remember that each number gives you a different resource. Try to balance building new structures and managing your resources well to earn victory points. Note: Pay attention to the type of resources you get from the dice. The ones that can't be stored need to be used immediately. Also, think carefully about which of the 28 building card types you want to use in each game, as only 7 are selected per play. Maintenance: Keep the building cards and dice in a dry and clean place. If they get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth. Enjoy your colony - building journey!
