It features thirteen heroes and monster figures with completely redesigned artwork and sculpts, matching the look of the second - edition. This expansion offers two exciting new quests, telling the story of heroes battling the resurgent cult. There are four noble heroes - Tahlia, Tetherys, Astarra, and Andira Runehand, who stand as beacons of light against the Forgotten. They face off against the overlord's most menacing monsters like golems, medusae, and sorcerers serving the cult. Inside the Crusade of the Forgotten, you'll find four detailed heroes of Terrinoth with character sheets, three complete monster groups with monster cards, and two brand - new quests: Crusade of the Forgotten and Shadowside Watch.

To use this product, start by setting up the game according to the rules of Descent: Journeys in the Dark Second Edition. Take out the four hero figures and their character sheets. Choose your hero and get familiar with their abilities. Then, set up the three monster groups using the monster cards. The two new quests, Crusade of the Forgotten and Shadowside Watch, can be played as standalone adventures. Just follow the story in the quest and make your moves as you play.
