This expansion adds a new and exciting faction to Cthulhu Wars. The Tcho - Tchos are a human - based faction. They represent the physically advanced yet ethically repulsive Tcho - Tcho tribe. They can interfere with other players by worshipping their Great Old Ones. In this unique faction, your Great Old One, Ubbo - Sathla, is a tool and slave, not an object of worship. The Tcho - Tchos stand out among Cthulhu Wars factions as they have access to three high priests. Beyond the standard power generation and pacing benefits of recruiting high priests, they use two spellbooks (Hierophants and Martydom) centered around high priests. Also, the Tcho - Tchos interact with other factions in special ways. The spellbooks Tablet of the Gods and Idolotry let them leech off other players, and Soulless makes your cultists less appealing to capture. At first, the Tcho - Tchos are generally weak defensively. But enemies usually hesitate to attack an area with your High Priests because of Martyrdom. Without sending in Great Old Ones, Proto - Shoggoths, especially with the Terror spellbook, can handle common opponents. The Tcho - Tchos have a big power advantage in the early game as you usually spend 0 Power on your Great Old One. You can use this power to capture or build Gates and place units in enemy Start Areas to harass them with Tablets of the Gods. Using the Cthulhu Wars: Tcho Tcho Expansion is easy. First, set up the base Cthulhu Wars game as usual. Then, add the components from the Tcho - Tcho expansion, like the Ubbo Sathia Figure, cultists, spellbooks, and markers. You can start a new game with 2 to 5 players. When playing as the Tcho - Tcho faction, remember to make the most of your three high priests. Use the Hierophants and Martydom spellbooks to gain an edge. Also, keep in mind that your cultists are less likely to be captured with the Soulless spellbook.
