This is the Kickstarter Edition of the Wonderland’s War: Shards of Madness Board Game Expansion by Druid City Games. It includes the Shards of Madness Expansion and all unlocked stretch goals. You'll need the Wonderland’s War core game (sold separately) to play. Note that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. In Wonderland, the chaos of war is everywhere. The Cheshire Cat offers corrupted shards, a madness fix. The Wonderlandians and their artifacts can bring great rewards, but there's a price. Will you face the Cheshire's chaotic grin or drink the Hatter’s mercurial tea? It's a 35 - card all - new expansion! The Shards of Madness includes 24 Wonderlandian Cards, 10 Quest Cards, 1 Battle Marker Card, and 8 10x Shard cardboard Tokens. The new Wonderlandian cards let you gain, give, and discard Shards during the War phase. They add new ways to win more shards and new discard methods. The competition for the extra Madness chip at the next Tea Party starts in the War Phase. The two new quest types, Leader Quests and Double Feat Quests, offer more ways to score points. Leader quests can be completed where your Leader is, and double Feat quests have two feats. The Entombed Sword marks the starting battle and gives a strong bonus to the winner. It adds more depth to your strategy. This expansion emphasizes Shards as a resource, offers new Quest types for new strategies, and an incentive to win the first battle. To play this expansion, first make sure you have the Wonderland’s War core game as it's required. Then, add the cards and tokens from this expansion to the core game. When playing, use the new Wonderlandian cards during the War phase to gain, give, or discard Shards. Try to complete the Leader Quests in regions where your Leader is present and the Double Feat Quests for more points. Remember, the Entombed Sword determines the starting battle and gives a bonus to the winner. Note that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated. To keep your game in good condition, store the cards and tokens in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid bending the cards and keep the tokens from getting scratched.
