Players compete to sew the cosiest quilt by collecting and placing patches of various colors and patterns. Each quilt has a specific pattern to follow, and players aim to create beautiful color and pattern combos to attract the cutest cats! Turns are easy. Pick a single patch tile from your hand and sew it into your quilt, then draw another patch from the three available. Create a color group and sew a button on your quilt. Attract a cat with a great pattern combo and it'll curl up on your quilt! At game's end, score points for buttons, cats, and how well you completed your unique quilt pattern. How to play Calico: First, start a game with 1 to 4 players. Your goal is to sew the coziest quilt. In each turn, select a patch tile from your hand and sew it into your quilt. Then, draw another patch from the three available ones. If you manage to create a color group, sew a button onto your quilt. If your pattern combination attracts a cat, it will come and curl up on your quilt. At the end of the game, you'll score points for buttons, cats, and how well you completed your unique quilt pattern. Note: This is the Kickstarter Edition of Calico. Unless otherwise stated, paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included. Maintenance advice: Keep the game in a dry and clean place to avoid damage to the tiles and other components.
