The expansion comes with 9 High Priest figures. All are cast from the same mold but come in 9 different colors, one for each of 9 factions like Great Cthulhu, Crawling Chaos, etc. The High Priest, a cultist subtype, has consistent abilities across factions but with different applications. It costs 3 and is recruited like a cultist. During the gather power phase, it generates 1 power, can create and control gates, and can be captured. You can sacrifice it at any time (except mid - action or when captured) to gain 2 power, which can get you back in the game if you're out of power. How to use: First, add the High Priest figures to your Cthulhu Wars game. Recruit them just like cultists, paying 3. During the gather power phase, each High Priest will generate 1 power for you. They can also create and control gates as part of the game. If you find yourself with 0 power, you can sacrifice a High Priest (as long as it's not in the middle of an action or captured) to immediately gain 2 power. Note: Remember that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter campaign are not included unless otherwise stated. Also, don't sacrifice a High Priest during an action or when it's captured. Maintenance: Keep the figures in a dry and safe place to avoid damage. Try to store them separately to prevent scratches or color transfer between the different - colored figures.
