In Encyclopedia, set in 1739, you're an aspiring naturalist hired by the Comte de Buffon to create the first natural - history encyclopedia. It's a dice - based worker placement game. At the start of each round, draw and roll dice, then place them on your board. Use these dice for actions like preparing expeditions at the Embassy, raising funds at the Bank, or hiring a research team at the University. Choose animal cards to study and organize expeditions. Once research is done, publish your findings to earn victory points. The naturalist with the most points wins!

How to play: At the start of each round, draw and roll the dice. Place them on your player board. Depending on the color and value of the dice, you can perform different actions each turn. For example, you can go to the Embassy to prepare your expeditions, visit the Bank to get funds, or hire your research team at the University. Choose the Animal cards you want to study and organize expeditions to observe the animals in their natural habitats. When your research is done, publish your findings to earn Victory points.
Note: This is a Kickstarter - exclusive bundle. Unless otherwise stated, paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included. Also, taking a die from another player's board doesn't cost you anything, but the targeted player gets a bonus.
Maintenance: Keep the game components in a dry and cool place. The card sleeve set can help protect the cards from wear and tear. If the dice get dirty, you can gently clean them with a damp cloth.
