In Marvel Zombies: X - Men Resistance, players take control of the last surviving Super Heroes in Hero Mode. The X - Men and their mutant foes team up against the zombie threat. Each Super Hero has unique skills that unlock as you kill more zombies. Players can use actions to get various Traits, which are single - use cards that boost skills. Bystanders, often hidden in buildings or chased by zombies, are key objectives. Rescuing them gives you a special permanent ability. Your actions can build heroic Power, which can be used for bonus dice or to trigger special effects. As you gain more experience and power, larger hordes of infected will spawn each round. A Zombie Hero rising to hunt you means the apocalypse is in full swing, and their powers remain strong. Modular tiles accurately recreate the X - Mansion. Over 10 Missions, you'll fight on the ground floor, student dorms, and underground facilities. How to play: First, set up the game using the modular tiles to recreate the X - Mansion. Decide whether you'll play in Hero Mode or Zombie Mode (you'll need the Marvel Zombies core box for Zombie Mode). In Hero Mode, choose your Super Hero and start the game. As you play, eliminate zombies to unlock your hero's unique skills. Use actions to acquire Traits that boost your skills. Look for Bystanders and rescue them to get special abilities. Build your heroic Power by taking actions, and then spend it for bonus dice or to trigger special effects. Each round, more infected will spawn as you get more powerful. In Zombie Mode, use the provided cards to play with Heroes and Bystanders according to the unique missions.
