It includes the Undead Viking promo card and the Kickstarter Exclusive Guildmaster card. Note: Unless stated otherwise, paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included. In Quests of Valeria, you step into the shoes of a Guild Master. Recruit and send Citizens to finish quests posted in a tavern in Valeria's Capital City and earn Victory Points. The one with the most Victory Points at the end wins. It's a unique set - collection game where you gather Citizens to meet Quest requirements. Hire Citizens from the tavern line for extra actions and build free - action combos! Players take turns choosing 2 actions: draw cards, hire Citizens, reserve a Quest, or complete a Quest. When hiring, discard cards in hand to pay and take the Citizen to your Guild. Some Citizens have bonus actions that trigger right away. When completing a Quest, send matching Citizens from your Guild to the discard pile. The game ends when a player finishes 5 Quests, then players reveal their Guild Master and count Victory Points. How to play Quests of Valeria: First, each player becomes a Guild Master. You'll take turns performing two actions each turn, like drawing cards, hiring Citizens from the tavern, reserving a Quest, or completing a Quest. To hire a Citizen, discard cards from your hand as payment. Once hired, they join your Guild. Some Citizens come with bonus actions that activate immediately. To complete a Quest, send the right Citizens from your Guild to the discard pile. The game wraps up when someone finishes 5 Quests. Then, show your Guild Master and count up your Victory Points. The player with the most points wins. Important notes: This is the Kickstarter Edition which includes the Undead Viking promo card and the Kickstarter Exclusive Guildmaster card. But remember, unless specified, paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign aren't part of this package. Maintenance: Keep the cards in a cool, dry place to prevent warping or damage. When not in use, store the game in its box to keep all components organized.
