Note that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign aren't included unless stated otherwise. After 10 years of dungeon - building fun, Boss Monster is evolving into Super Boss Monster. In this game, 1 - 4 players draft room cards, play spells, and attract adventurers to build the ultimate side - scrolling dungeon. The new Town Board adds fresh mechanics. Random room draws are replaced by a simple draft. Heroes appear in town and spill over to locations like the Temple, Stadium, Library, Hide - Out, and Tavern. You can use your new Minion meeple to grab them. Minions can also activate other action spaces if you don't use them to direct heroes. The Town Board also unlocks a single - player mode where you try to lure and slay as many heroes as possible. Keep an eye on damage, but luring is the key. If too many heroes pile up in town, they'll go to the Tavern and end the game. Super Boss Monster is 100% compatible with all existing Boss Monster cards. How to play: For 1 - 4 players, start by using the draft system instead of random room draws to build your side - scrolling dungeon. Play spells and use your Minion meeple to direct heroes from town to your dungeon. In single - player mode, focus on luring heroes to slay as many as you can. Keep an eye on damage levels and don't let too many heroes stack up in town or the game will end. Things to note: The game doesn't include paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign unless otherwise stated. Maintenance: Keep the cards and tokens in a dry place. You can use a soft cloth to clean the neoprene mats if they get dirty. Make sure to store the game in the Collector’s Big Box to keep all the pieces organized.
