It includes two graphic novels, 12 ship miniatures, and 8 color bases. You need the Twilight Imperium Fourth Edition board game (sold separately) to play. Note: paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign aren't included unless stated otherwise. Twilight Imperium (Fourth Edition) is a thrilling galactic conquest game. Players take on one of seventeen unique factions, each offering a different playstyle. The game board is always different, constructed with 51 galaxy tiles at the start of each galactic age. Each round, players pick a strategy card that decides order and gives a special action. Then they move fleets, claim planets, and engage in warfare and trade. At the turn's end, there's a council to pass laws. Players score victory points by completing public and secret objectives. The game ends when a player reaches ten victory points. How to use: First, make sure you have the Twilight Imperium Fourth Edition board game. Then, open the supplement and take out the two graphic novels, 12 ship miniatures, and 8 color bases. At the start of the game, construct the game board using the 51 galaxy tiles. Each player chooses a faction and picks a strategy card at the beginning of each round. Move your fleets around the board, claim planets, and engage in battles and trades. After each turn, check if you've completed any objectives to score points. Keep playing until someone reaches ten victory points. Things to note: This is a Kickstarter exclusive edition, and paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. You must have the base game to play this supplement. Maintenance advice: Keep the miniatures in a safe place to avoid damage. Store the cards in a card protector to prevent wear and tear. If the graphic novels get dirty, gently wipe them with a soft cloth.
