Each player takes on the role of an energy company CEO, responding to government calls for new, green power plants. The goal is to halt pollution, meet the demand for sustainable energy, and make a profit. You'll need expertise, money, and resources to build clean power plants. Energy summits help share and gain knowledge. Each region starts with carbon emissions permits (CEPs) from the United Nations, which can be bought and sold on a fluctuating market. Victory points come from money, CEPs, built green power plants, completed UN and company goals, and gained expertise. This newly redesigned edition features a new iconography, a rulebook with 3D pictures for easy rule understanding, more balanced gameplay, a new events deck, improved mechanisms, and upgraded wooden power plant components.
