Product Information

Board Game Geek Rating: 7.52. Board Game Geek Avg Player Rating: 8.03. This board game is for 2 to 5 players and was published in 2016. It's the retail edition of Pandemic: Iberia. Set in 1848 on the Iberian Peninsula, you'll take on roles like nurse, railwayman, rural doctor, and sailor. Your goal is to find cures for malaria, typhus, yellow fever, and cholera. Travel from Barcelona to Lisboa by carriage, boat, or train to assist the local population. Distribute purified water and develop railways to slow disease spread. This version of Pandemic offers a unique experience during a significant historical period - the construction of the first railroad in the Iberian Peninsula during the Spring of Nations. The game has two variants. In the 'Influx of Patients' variant, patient cubes flock to hospitals, and hospitals are more powerful. In the 'Historical Diseases' variant, each disease has specific powers. It's part of the popular Pandemic series. At TheGameSteward, we support campaigns to bring you games like this. A large percentage of your purchase of Pandemic: Iberia will go towards backing new games on Kickstarter. If you have any purchase questions or need game advice, contact The Game Steward.

How to play: First, choose your role among nurse, railwayman, rural doctor, sailor, etc. Then, start your journey from Barcelona to Lisboa using carriage, boat, or train. Your main task is to find cures for malaria, typhus, yellow fever, and cholera. While traveling, don't forget to distribute purified water and develop railways to slow the spread of diseases. You can also add the two variants - 'Influx of Patients' and 'Historical Diseases' - for more fun. Note: Make sure you understand the rules of each variant before adding them to the game. Maintenance: Keep the game components in a dry and clean place to avoid damage. If the cards get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth.
