Product Information

Board Game Geek Rating: 5.86; Avg Player Rating: 8.09. This 2019 retail edition of PARKS board game by Keymaster Games includes the core game. It's a celebration of National Parks with amazing art from Fifty - Nine Parks. In the game, you play as two hikers trekking through different trails across four seasons. While on the trails, collect memories represented by resource tokens like mountains and forests. Collect sets of these memories to visit a National Park at the end of each hike. Each season, the tile - represented trails change and get longer. Resources can be scarce, especially when others are at your destination. Use campfires to share space with other hikers, and canteens and gear to improve resource access. Balancing building your engine and spending on parks is challenging but fun. We're excited to back Kickstarter campaigns with your purchase money. If you have questions, contact The Game Steward.

To play PARKS, first set up the game board with the trail tiles representing different seasons. Each player takes on the role of two hikers. As you move your hikers along the trails, take actions and collect resource tokens that represent memories of the places visited. Try to collect these tokens in sets so you can trade them in to visit a National Park at the end of each hike. Remember, the trails change and get longer each season. When resources are hard to come by, use campfires to share space with other hikers and canteens and gear to get better access to resources. Be careful to balance building up your ability to collect more resources and spending them on visiting parks. Keep the game components in a dry and clean place when not in use. If any parts get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth. Have fun playing PARKS!
