In 1100 AD Nottingham, the true king is in the Holy Lands, and the town is under the rule of the evil Prince John. He has forced Maid Marian into marriage and locked her in his castle. The young princess sends a message to her true love, Robin Hood, who vows to save her with the help of his Merry Men. But the men doubt the mission's safety, fearing it could plunge Nottingham into chaos. Robin proposes a challenge: if one of his men can protect Nottingham better than him, he'll hand over his leadership mantle. They accept and pledge to rescue Maid Marian.
This semi - cooperative and highly competitive board game is set in the legendary town of Nottingham. You'll play as famous outlaw heroes like Robin Hood, Little John, etc. The goal is to prove you're Nottingham's ultimate protector. Defend the town and its people from Prince John and his sheriff. Build a base camp in Sherwood Forest, acquire weapons and resources to survive against the prince and his endless army. Raise villagers' morale by robbing from the rich and giving to the poor. Watch out for the sheriff and his guards. They'll be after you, so lay traps for the gold - filled carriages to get an edge. If your men get captured, plan a rescue mission, but be careful as the guards will be expecting you.
