The game includes the core game and all unlocked stretch goals, but paid add - ons from the Kickstarter campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. In Thiefdom, you represent competing thief guilds robbing from the medieval town of Bacharach to be the most skillful guild. It's a strategic, interactive pickup & delivery game. Each player controls three thief figures and must avoid four city guards. The guards, controlled by all players, limit thieves' movement. Thieves can use equipment like grapples and smoking bombs to avoid detention. If detained, a thief loses loot and victory points. The game spans 6 nights. The player with the most victory points wins. Each night has a Planning Phase (simultaneous planning of figure movements), an Action Phase (actions based on the plan), and an Administration Phase (cleanup for the next night). The town has 8 modular and double - printed quarters, creating a unique puzzle each game. Thieves can buy 12 types of equipment and befriend 36 guest cards in the tavern. To play Thiefdom, first, gather 1 to 4 players. Each player takes control of three thief figures. The game is divided into 6 nights. At the start of each night, enter the Planning Phase. Here, all players secretly plan the order to move their thief figures and the neutral figures they control, like city guards, carriage, and citizens. Then, reveal your plans at the same time. Next comes the Action Phase. Move your figures according to the pre - planned order. Try to rob from the town while avoiding the city guards. You can use equipment like grapples and smoking bombs to escape detention. If a thief gets caught, they lose their loot and some victory points. After the Action Phase, it's the Administration Phase. Clean up the board and prepare for the next night. Keep in mind that this is the Kickstarter Edition, which includes the core game and unlocked stretch goals, but paid add - ons from the campaign might not be included.
