Each spire miniature has space for up to five upgrade chips underneath, and extra upgrades can be placed on top. Note that this expansion is mainly for aesthetics and doesn't change the gameplay. Cloudspire is a 1 - 4 player strategy game inspired by tower defense and MOBA games. It has solo and cooperative play modes with a scenario book. Players control one of four factions to destroy and steal source energy from opponents. They can send and defend armies, build towers, and explore with heroes. The game takes place in the floating realm of Ankar, where every race has unique units, heroes, and the ability to hire mercenaries. Armies can be placed individually or in stacks, heroes are controlled separately, and the event deck keeps the fight exciting. Spires are powerful defense towers around the board. Using this Cloudspire Miniatures Expansion Vol 2 is easy. First, make sure you have the core game as this expansion requires it. Once you've got everything set up, you can start placing the 12 miniatures on the board according to the rules of your chosen faction, Horizon’s Wrath or The Uprising. The miniatures have space for upgrade chips. Put up to five chips under each spire miniature and place any extra ones on top. When playing, you control your faction to battle other players, build towers, and explore. Remember, this expansion is mainly for looks and doesn't change how the game is played. As for maintenance, keep the miniatures in a dry and clean place. Avoid dropping them as they might break. If they get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth.
