When building, place the building on the modular game - board (sized according to the number of players and made of hexagonal tiles with seven landscape 'circles'), then put the card in your personal tableau and activate the powers of the cards in the stack. When making an offering, discard cards, get help from a god, and refill your hand to five. The game ends when all barbarian villages are attacked or all temples are built, and the player with the most points wins.
