In Sub Terra, players explore and uncover the tunnel system each turn, facing cave perils like floods, cave - ins, gas leaks, and scree. Each player has a role with special abilities, like an Engineer with dynamite to create new paths or a Scout to find routes easily. New cave feature tiles are randomly placed, determining if you'll hit a dead - end or have new options. At each turn's end, a hazard card is drawn to show the danger that might harm you or block your escape. These cards are limited. When they're gone, your torches flicker, the air gets tight, and survival chances drop fast. To play Sub Terra Core Board Game, gather 1 to 6 players. Each player takes on the role of an amateur caver.
